The type D40 thigh deboner for broilers is a stand-alone, automatic, floor placed machine for thigh deboning. This machine operates by
the simple process of pushing the bones through a tough rubber diaphragm that ensures maximum yield. The thigh is placed directly in the deboner where the thigh is held in place as a probe pushes
the bone away from the meat.
The machine, operating by a curve system, has 12 units consisting of a probe, product holder and a rubber diaphragm holder. The product holders are fitted onto an endless chain which is motor
driven.
The thighs (with or without skin) are manually placed on the product holder at the open loading side of the machine. The product holder takes the thigh through a sequence of automatic deboning steps, integrated in a carousel mechanism, separating the thigh fillets from the bones.
The machine is constructed of stainless steel and food approved materials.
It allows for placement of a belt conveyor underneath the machine to transport the deboned thigh fillets for inspection purposes.
